A Special Little Fish is a short documentary about a rare little fish, a new mom, and finding wonder in a backyard creek.
I created the graphics package, illustration and animation for Ugly Fish Productions/Sonya Lee Director. The creative direction for the fish illustrations was to inspire myself from the main character's art style which was painterly. The fish movements had to be as close as possible to reality within that style.
